Driscoll Speaks Up for Seniors Regarding RIDE Cuts

BOSTON, MAR. 29 - Representative Bill Driscoll Jr. attended the MBTA Fiscal Management and Control Board hearing on Monday, March 27th, where he expressed his opposition to the recently proposed RIDE cuts. The legislator for the towns of Milton and Randolph noted that nearly 1,500 of his constituents would be affected by this move, and that the removal of the service would result in real restrictions for their day-to-day mobility. “Residents in Randolph and Milton, particularly those belonging to our older generation, depend on the RIDE and stand to lose much of their autonomy,” he said. Driscoll Condemns Racist Graffiti

BOSTON, Mar. 20 - Representative Driscoll today condemned the Swastika graffiti recently found in bathrooms at Pierce Middle School. Last week’s incident was the second time in three months that Nazi symbols were found scrawled on the walls of the school’s bathroom. The graffiti also follows the vandalism of a Holocaust memorial in Milton cemetery, which occurred in September. “The symbols found in Pierce Middle School bathrooms this week are utterly disgraceful,” Representative Driscoll said. Driscoll Expresses Support for Noise Abatement Measures

BOSTON, Mar. 10 - State Representative Bill Driscoll expressed his support last night for the most recent noise abatement recommendations put forward by the MCAC Aviation Subcommittee.
