Randolph Awarded CDBG Funding

JANUARY 7, 2026

The Town of Randolph was awarded $850,000 in federal funding for housing rehabilitation. The grant will support the rehab of 8 units, as well as provide social services for residents. The federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and administered by the MA Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities made the award of $850,000 to the Town of Randolph.

“We were happy to support Randolph's application for this opportunity and Senator Brady, Representative Bruce Ayers, Representative Richard Wells, and I are thrilled to see that Randolph is one of 52 communities in the Commonwealth to have received this critical funding," said State Senator Bill Driscoll Jr. (D-Milton)

This type of funding helps small cities and towns undertake projects that benefit low- and moderate-income residents.

The Healy-Driscoll Administration is investing a total of $33.5 million in federal CDBG awards this round to support housing, infrastructure, social services and economic development projects here in Massachusetts.
