Driscoll Seeks Extension for 40B Applications in Milton
MILTON, MAR.11 - The Town of Milton is under a deadline regarding public comments for various 40B proposals. It is crucial that the Town and its citizens weigh in. However, with Massachusetts facing increased uncertainty related to the coronavirus (COVID-19), we all must do what we can to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.
I will be sending a request to pause the 40B application process for the purposes of extending public comment and MassHousing's decision timelines until the Commonwealth's state of emergency is lifted and large local public meetings can safely & confidently be held once again.
In the mean time, I encourage those that have opinions, concerns, etc. about the 40B development proposal in East Milton and other neighborhoods in Milton to submit written testimony, so that you are heard in the ongoing process.

Regarding the Coronavirus, I have issued a statement which can be accessed here. We can all take preventative measures to help protect ourselves by washing our hands often with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds, covering our coughs and sneezes, and staying home when sick.
